With NFL Super Bowl LIII right around the corner, we thought it was time to count down some of our favorite game day wine pairings. While many opt for beer as their football drink of choice, we say… pour more wine! And we know exactly which wines you should be pouring this playoff season.
Pairs with beef chili and comebacks
Slow-cooked chili and ribs were made for our Big Red Blend. Or perhaps it’s the other way around? Either way, we love this pairing! The textured, full-bodied and larger-than-life flavors of this wine is perfect for the savory, spice-forward flavors of your favorite chili or rib recipe. This is comeback food, y’all. Dig in, get comfy, and root hard.
Pairs with cheers-ing cans
Step aside Bud Light... Lila Wines is our ultimate Game Day go-to. These canned wines all pair well with the type of finger foods you'll be eating while watching the game and you won't have to feel left out with a can in your hand... So, which Lila Wines will you be cracking open on Super Bowl Sunday?
Pair with grilled meats and high fives
Whether you’re grilling up burgers or steak, you’re going to want a big, full-bodied red wine to accompany it. And our go-to for meat-eating tailgates is our bold Iron Side Cabernet Sauvignon from California. This wine was made for high-fiving and smokey grills. Black cherry, tobacco leaf, pepper and spice… go ahead, put this up against any beer-drinking crowd, we dare you.
Pair with spicy chicken wings and messy hands
Spicy chicken wings are basically mandatory Super Bowl game finger food, and if you’re looking for a wine that can stand up to the heat, we say pull out the Riesling! Our Lot 66 will punch the heat back with a refreshingly juicy sweetness and will say yes to messy mouths and sticky hands. Good luck with the fiery wrath of Tom Brady though…
Pairs with your team’s victory-winning touchdown!
What says celebration more than the “pop” of a fresh bottle of bubbly? Nada! And for big crowds of cheering fans (that may or may not be partially inebriated by this point in the game), we say Prosecco is the way to go. Unlike Champagne, Prosecco feels right at home with backwards hats and scuffed up jerseys. And when your team makes that unbelievably stunning touchdown pass you’ve been waiting for… there will be absolutely no greater pleasure than pouring celebratory glasses for the entire crowd. Go ahead, fill ’em up… you’ve got eight months to go till next season.
Pairs with Patriots fans!
And last but certainly not least... We might be a little biased, being a New England based company, but we can't wait to sip on Celebrate Boston Rosé while watching the G.O.A.T. do what he does best on Sunday. Celebrate Boston is the perfect pairing for all of our Patriots fans!

Because, hey… if Marky Mark can drink wine and watch football, so can you.
We don’t judge here.
