DESCRIPTION

Pauillac, on Bordeaux's Médoc peninsula, is home to some of the world's most famous and expensive red wines, made predominantly from Cabernet Sauvignon. Three of the top five Châteaux are located here: Mouton Rothschild, Lafite Rothschild and Château Latour.

This wine is made from a blend of 75% Cabernet Sauvignon and 25% Merlot, grown on 30-year-old vines deeply rooted along the hillsides of the Garonne River. The grapes are hand harvested, macerated in stainless steel vats, fermented in separate batches, and blended and aged in French oak barrels for 12 months.

TASTING NOTES

With dense, dark fruit aromas and exceptional age-ability, this luscious Bordeaux will bedazzle even your finest wine loving friends. Pronounced black currant aromas emerge from the glass, followed by more gentle notes of cedar, toasted wood, and coffee grounds. The wine is full but well-balanced featuring fresh, ripe black fruit and fine tannins which add structure and refinement.
