In the middle of Napa Valley, at the foothills of the Mayacamas Mountains, lies one of the most prestigious wine growing regions in California, Oakville. The Mediterranean climate allows grapes to reach their full ripening potential while preserving freshness in the wines, in this case Cabernet Sauvignon.
After hand-picking the Cabernet grapes, the wine is fermented then aged for nearly two years in French oak barrels. The wine sees further aging in bottle before being released.
