DESCRIPTION
Russian River Valley, located in the heart of California’s Sonoma
County, is one the world’s most revered wine regions for Pinot Noir
and Chardonnay. The cool and foggy area is heavily influenced by
the Pacific Ocean and the oceanic breeze that rolls in through the
Petaluma Gap. This climate is ideal for Pinot Noir, which thrives
in these cooler environments that lead to long, slow ripening
seasons. The result is wines with complexity and balance.
This Pinot Noir is grown by one of the most respected wine
growers in the region. Grapes are hand-picked, fermented and aged
for nine months in a mix of French and American Oak barrels.
TASTING NOTES
Alluringly scented with aromas of juicy black cherries and cocoa, along with notes of cedar and violets. The wine’s flavors are boldly expressive and layered.
