Made From Organic Grapes

The Barbera d’Alba DOC in Italy’s Piedmont is famed for its tangy, cherry-like red wines made from Barbera grapes. For over a dozen vintages, this Barbera has been a standout in our Reserve Series, always over-delivering as a delicious, versatile, and chillable red that pairs with a variety of food and occasions.

This wine is made by third generation vignerons who also produce our Lot 26 Barolo. Harvested from grapes grown in calcareous clay soils near the town of Monforte d'Alba, the berries undergo a soft crushing followed by a temperature-controlled fermentation using select yeasts. The result is an intensely fruit forward wine bursting with dark fruits.
