Perched on a medieval Tuscan hilltop, the town of Montalcino is surrounded by some of Italy's most celebrated vineyards. This wine is made from 100% Sangiovese grapes that are hand-harvested and carefully sorted, then fermented for two weeks. The wine spends 24 months aging in large Slavonian oak barrels and another 18 months resting in bottle. The result is a wine with deep, layered flavors and an unmistakable elegance.
