This high-elevation old vine Malbec has been one of our best-selling red wines for over 15 years!
Made by a 4th generation female winemaker, the grapes for this wine are harvested from 25 year-old vines in both the Luján de Cuyo and Valle de Uco regions of Mendoza. In this region, Malbec grapes receive ample sunshine during the day followed by cool evenings, resulting in a wine with an intense depth of flavor and a unique freshness. Due to naturally low-humidity and rainfall in this area, pesticides are not needed making all vineyards easily sustainable when it comes to farming. After a meticulous fermentation in stainless steel tanks the wine is then aged in French oak barrels for 6 months prior to bottling.
