DESCRIPTION

Vouvray is a steely white wine made from Chenin Blanc grapes harvested from ancient limestone soils located in the historic French province of Touraine. Mists from the Loire River create conditions that result in a wine with freshness and punch.

100% Chenin Blanc harvested by hand from vines planted on southern facing slopes on the northern bank of the Loire River. The grapes are gently pressed, and the juice allowed to settle prior to a cool fermentation in stainless steel. Several months of aging on the fine lees occurs prior to bottling in late spring after the vintage.

TASTING NOTES

Bright citrus and perfumed floral aromas combined with a touch of honeyed sweetness. Each sip delivers a tangy, mouthwatering burst of flavor. Pour a glass with freshly grilled peaches, or an assortment of french cheeses.
