TASTING NOTES

This Pinot Noir from Oregon's Eola-Amity Hills is bursting with juicy red cherries and fresh berries, rounded out by smooth layers of caramel, warm spice, and a touch of chocolate. Silky and expressive, it's the kind of wine that makes any meal feel like a special occasion. Pair this with dark chocolate covered cherries, herbed grilled roasted lamb, or a truffle mac and cheese for a match made in heaven.

DESCRIPTION

If you are looking for small production Willamette Valley Pinot Noir at an unbelievable price, Lot 193 is a can’t miss. This wine is limited to just 1,000 cases and is available for nearly half of the producer’s own labeled bottling.

Eola-Amity Hills is one of Willamette Valley’s most prestigious sub- appellations. There, vineyards lie on east-facing hillsides and consist of deep, volcanic basalt soils. This wine is produced from a small boutique winery on estate vineyards with production only reaching 2,000 cases of Pinot Noir per year. The soil, along with long sunlight hours and cooler temperatures creates intensely fresh and flavorful Pinot Noir with a sleek texture featuring ripe, dark berry fruit, soft oak and savory earth aromas. This is Oregon Pinot Noir at its best.
