    DESCRIPTION

The region of Sancerre is known mostly for its world class Sauvignon Blanc wines. However, this region in central France’s Loire Valley also produces delightfully nuanced Pinot Noir grown in ancient limestone soils with the influence of warm days and cool nights. The continental climate mixed with clay soils lend itself to wines with a richness and beautiful texture to them.

    TASTING NOTES

Much like the region’s white wines, the red wines of Sancerre are fresh and vibrant with bright tart cherry aromas and lingering notes of earth and flower petals. Enjoy now with roast duck with cherry sauce or sautéed mushrooms.
