TASTING NOTES

A delicate perfume of fleshy white peach with hints of lemon curd, honey blossom, and flint give way to a creamy texture and grapefruit-laced finish. Balanced and crisp, this is a wine destined for the finest tables, but happiest among a humble goat cheese topped salad.

DESCRIPTION

VIVINO 4.1 RATING

The small town of Sancerre sits on the banks of the river Loire just across from its famous neighbor, Pouilly Fumè. The vineyards that surround the town are planted on ancient soils of limestone and flint, producing racy Sauvignon Blanc wines that are rich with stony minerals.

One of our most sought-after wines, Lot 126 Sancerre is produced in small quantities and represents one of the greatest values on the Sancerre shelf. After grapes are picked, the fruit is gently pressed, then goes through a cool fermentation. The wine matures 4-6 months on fine lees prior to bottling.
