    DESCRIPTION

Willamette Valley Pinot Noir is made from Pinot Noir grapes harvested from vines situated in the rolling foothills of Oregon’s Coast Range Mountains. Compared to other American wine regions, the Willamette Valley is small in size, and boutique in nature, known for producing wines of quality over quantity.

The grapes are destemmed, crushed and fermented in small opened-topped tanks with regular punch downs. Once complete, the wine matures for approximately 8-10 months prior to bottling.

    TASTING NOTES

Rich ruby red in color with aromas of fresh cherries and strawberries rising above a fragrant mix of cinnamon, violets, black tea and cedar. This Pinot Noir is beautifully balanced with a long velvety finish. It's an ideal red wine to pair with wild mushroom risotto, whole-roasted chicken with sage and garlic, or a plate of fresh bread and soft cheeses.

    90+ WMV

Excellent value, as always. Smooth, robust, with lots of red fruit. A little sweet and heavy for my taste, but not inconsistent with the terroir. The McMinnville is a bit lighter and drinks more like a Burgundy. This a tasty wine, which can stand up to some heavier meals.

    Amazing

This wine has so much finesse, tastes like a $40 bottle, easily. For the 90+ price, you could drink this daily and not go broke!
