In the northernmost part of Burgundy lies the wonderful region of Chablis. In this cool, continental climate, vines are planted on southern facing hillsides to capture the light and warmth of the sun. The soil is composed of Kimmeridgian clay, calcareous in nature. These vineyards produce a wine made from Chardonnay that is completely unique in character and distinct in flavor.
