    Wines made from French grapes in the warm, coastal areas of Tuscany are often described as Super Tuscan. These wines are Tuscany's answer to the great wines of Bordeaux. The warm sunshine combined with sea breezes enables the mid to late ripening Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot to achieve balanced ripeness and acidity resulting in highly concentrated wines for long aging.
    The grapes are destemmed, crushed and fermented separately under controlled temperatures with a post fermentation maceration of approximately 3 weeks. Maturation occurs for 12 to 18 months in a blend of new and neutral Barrique.


    Waves of dark chocolate and black currant aromas burst from the glass followed by a surge of plum, vanilla and cedar. The wine is full bodied and packed with ripe dark fruit flavors and mouthful of round, lush tannins. Pair it with grilled lamb chops and rosemary or a smoky eggplant puree for a gastronomic adventure.
