While Argentina may be best known for its Malbec, the country produces a diversity of wines. And Lot 53 is the perfect introduction to the power, potential and crowd-pleasing nature of Argentine Cabernet.
Cabernet Sauvignon bunches are de-stemmed and fermented using natural yeasts in stainless steel tanks under temperature control to manage tannin extraction. After a a short post fermentation maceration the wine is racked into a blend of new and previously used French oak barrels where it ages for approximately 8 to 10 months.
