DESCRIPTION
The province of Trentino forms the southern half of the Trentino-Alto Adige region in the northeastern corner of Italy. It is the country’s northern most viticultural area. The climate of this region is greatly influenced by the massive presence of the Dolomite Mountains and towering Alpine peaks. This mountainous landscape protects the wine growing areas from the elements, channeling warm air currents through which heat up and cool down the vineyards throughout the day.
While the region is known for a diversity of grapes, it has developed a reputation for producing some of the best Pinot Grigio in the world. Pinot Grigio grapes thrive in this cool, northernly environment, creating wines that are delicate, crisp and vibrant.
Grapes are hand-harvested, followed by a fermentation that occurs at controlled temperatures in stainless steel. The finished wine is bottled after 4-6 months in tank.
SUSTAINABLY CRAFTED WINE
