    DESCRIPTION

Languedoc, in Southern France, is a Mediterranean region with a rich viticulture history and a growing reputation for making value-driven red blends. Typical varietals in the region include Syrah, Grenache, Carignan and Mourvedre.

French Fusion is made from a blend of Syrah, Grenache and Mourvedre grapes that are grown in sustainably-farmed, family-owned vineyards in the foothills of the Cevennes. The wine is fermented in stainless steel and then aged for 6 to 8 months before it is bottled with only a gentle filtration.

Lot 21 was 90+ Cellars’ first French wine. It is made by a winery that has origins dating back to the 13th century.

    SUSTAINABLY CRAFTED WINE

    TASTING NOTES

A medium-bodied, smooth wine with aromas of rich black cherry and blackberry fruit, fresh pepper and roasted coffee. Hints of bittersweet anise and raspberries linger on the finish.

    Smooth Criminal

Pleasantly balanced aromas of spice and fruit anticipate an easy berry punch and dangerously smooth finish. A good wine for any dinner table or just by itself. Would easily pair well with a savory braised beef or Mexican deviled chicken.

    An excellent wine

As in the past, this Lot 21 wine was quite good; firm texture, mostly without tannins, excellent taste.

    Highly Recommended!

French Fusion was the first wine I tried from 90+. From that first bottle it had been my favorite Red!
