Many producers in Italy have been making sparkling rosé for years, but until recently, they have not been able to label it “Prosecco.” Regulations introduced in 2020 allowed producers to start blending the Glera grape with up to 10-15% Pinot Noir to make Prosecco Rosé. 90+ Cellars introduced Lot 197 within months of the regulations passing.
Made from Glera and Pinot Noir, this extra dry Prosecco Rosé is effervescent and lively. A secondary fermentation in steel tanks produces long lasting bubbles with ripe red fruits and citrus.
