Languedoc, in Southern France, is a Mediterranean region with a rich viticulture history and a growing reputation for making value-driven red blends. Typical varietals in the region include Syrah, Grenache, Carignan and Mourvedre.
French Fusion is made from a blend of Syrah, Grenache and Mourvedre grapes that are grown in sustainably-farmed, family-owned vineyards in the foothills of the Cevennes. The wine is fermented in stainless steel and then aged for 6 to 8 months before it is bottled with only a gentle filtration to preserve its unique character and flavor.
Lot 21 was 90+ Cellars’ first French wine. It is made by a winery that has origins dating back to the 13th century.
