    DESCRIPTION

Moscato d’Asti is a semi-sweet, lightly sparkling, low-alcohol wine from Piedmont, Italy. As implied from its name, the wine is made from Moscato grapes grown in vineyards near the town of Asti. Unlike other sparkling wines like Champagne and Prosecco, Moscato d’Asti is not made in the Traditional Method or Charmat Method and is not bottle-fermented at any point; its sparkle comes entirely from being fermented in pressurized tanks. Moscato is a great choice for someone looking for a light, refreshing wine.

The Moscato Bianco grapes that go into Lot 134 are harvested, pressed, filtered, chilled, and stored as unfermented grape must. Fermentation happens only when the wine is ready for consumption, ensuring freshness and aromatic delicacy. Production continues with a single fermentation, which is stopped when the wine reaches an alcohol just under or around 6%. This results in a fresh, floral, and fizzy wine with a good dose of sweetness.

    TASTING NOTES

Playfully effervescent with notes of sweet, juicy peach and fragrant honey. A crisp and balanced wine that will woo everyone in your crew. When it’s time to unwind, there’s no sweeter sip than this Moscato.
