Welcome to the first episode of the 90+ Cellars Wine Truck Sessions! Like so many of you, our summer plans are looking a lot different than we imagined. But even though we won’t be able to sip wine with you at events and festivals, we still wanted to find a way to bring the party to you. So we’re hopping in our Rosé Wine Truck, along with some friends, and serving up summer... virtually! The Wine Truck Sessions will allow us all to enjoy a great glass of wine together this summer – even if we’re apart.
For our first session, we enlisted the help of Steve Barresi, longtime bartender at Loco Taqueria & Oyster Bar in South Boston, to shake up three wine cocktails perfect for summer. Check out the full video below, along with the cocktail recipes so you can follow along and make one (or all three!) at home. WATERMELON SANGRIA
Made with Boston Rosé
Ingredients:
- 2 oz 90+ Cellars Boston Rosé
- 1/2 oz lemon juice
- 1/2 oz peach schnapps
- 1/2 oz Steel Dust Vodka
- Splash of cranberry juice
- Muddled watermelon
- Serve on ice
Method: Pour muddled watermelon, Steel Dust Vodka, lemon juice, simple syrup and cranberry juice into an ice-filled cocktail shaker. Shake and pour into your glass. Top with Boston Rosé.
MEXICAN 75
Made with Lot 50 Prosecco
Ingredients:
- 2 oz tequila
- 1 oz agave
- 1 oz lime juice
- Strain in champagne flute
- Top with 90+ Cellars Lot 50 Prosecco
Method: Pour tequila, lime juice and agave into an ice-filled cocktail shaker. Strain out the ice and pour into a flute glass, leaving room to top with Prosecco.
CHICA LOCA
Made with Lot 49 Sparkling Rosé
Ingredients:
- Muddled strawberries & cucumbers
- 1.5 oz tequila
- 3/4 oz triple sec
- 1/2 oz lemon juice
- 1/2 oz simple syrup
- 3/4 oz passion fruit pureé
- Top with 90+ Cellars Sparkling Rosé
- Serve on ice
Method: Pour tequila, triple sec, lemon juice, simple syrup and passion fruit purée into an ice-filled cocktail shaker. Add in muddled strawberries & cucumber and give it a shake. Pour into a glass and top off with Sparkling Rosé.
