We want this summer to last as long as possible… so we’re wine-ding down with these refreshing summer thirst quenching wine cocktails! These might even be the perfect cocktails to take into early Fall and tailgating season… Wine not have a cocktail during the game?
We teamed up with bloggers Erin Lynch (of Platings and Pairings) and Lauren Bazuna (of Toast from the Host) to create these delicious wine cocktail recipes. Give them a try and let us know what you think!
Strawberry Sauvignon Blanc Cocktail
The following recipe is an excerpt from Platings and Pairings blog by Erin Lynch
Ingredients:
- 3 oz Lot 2 New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc
- 1 oz Vodka
- 3 Fresh Strawberries (stems removed)
- 1 Tbsp Agave Nectar
- Juice of 1/4 Lemon
- 1.5 oz Soda Water
Instructions:
In the bottom of a mixing glass, muddle the strawberries in the lemon and agave nectar. Add Sauvignon Blanc and vodka and shake well with ice. Strain over ice into a wine glass and top with soda water.
Sparkling Pineapple Sangria Cocktail
The following recipe is an excerpt from Toast from the Host blog by Lauren Bazuna
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup Pineapple Juice
- 1/3 cup Peach Schnapps
- 4 cans Lila Wines Sparkling
- 1/4 cup Simple Syrup
- Fresh Pineapple Slices
- (optional) Peach Slices & Pineapple Leaf for Garnish
Instructions:
Pour the 4 cans of Lila Sparkling Wine into a pitcher. Follow up with Peach Schnapps, and Pineapple juice. For extra sweetness, pour in the simple syrup. Combine and stir all ingredients and allow to chill for 2-3 hours.
When ready to serve, top off each glass with some more Lila Wine to give it some extra bubbles.
